As the official partner of the Moroccan Textile and Clothing Association (AMITH) since 2006, Expandys annually promotes the fashion trade fair, Maroc in Mode, in the UK.
Maroc in Mode is a fashion trade fair acting as a platform for Moroccan manufacturers of the fashion industry doing “fast-fashion”. It is coupled with Maroc Sourcing, which is dedicated to fabrics, textiles, accessories, equipment and other services.
On behalf of AMITH, Expandys regularly publicises and promotes the show to UK fashion companies and major players in the sector. We also provide full support to UK fashion companies coming to the event as buyers. The services offered by Expandys include: arranging of logistics (hotel, flight) for VIP buyers, recommending the most relevant manufacturers to meet with based on their requirements, organising factory visits for the UK buyers, accompanying them to the trade fair show and most importantly being available to answer any questions or queries they may have.
In 2014, with the assistance of Expandys, Maroc in Mode welcomed some major UK brands such as River Island, Perry Ellis, Matalan, Asos, Jacques Vert, House of Fraser among others. Over the years we have seen a steady rise of UK fashion companies who are interested in developing their sourcing activities with Moroccan manufacturers, attending the trade fair and building business relations.
